A thank-you shout-out to Rkkwan
Just a short note of thanks for the valuable information you have brought to the board. I've used much of it to great advantage on a recent trip to Europe:
1. Info on good seats in row 44 of Continental 777s
2. Info on the EWR terminal system, making getting from my domestic arrival gate to the international departure gate a snap
3. Talking about Flightstats.com, which allowed me to schedule an earlier EWR arrival time, thus avoiding an flight with only 36% on-time history and average 72 minute delay, which could have resulted in missing my connection to Zurich.
Your knowledge of all things airlines/ airport and of Continental in particular is amazing. Thanks for sharing it.

A funny story about Rkkwan, that even he doesn't know! He helped me greatly with the air travel from US to Italy this Nov. for DH, DS, & I. As I have been accused by DH & DS, I was micro-managing our air arrangements (among our other travel arrangements!). After posting endless questions about our air travel, & after Rkkwan patiently answered every one of them with even more info, he finally replied, "Julie, don't sweat the small stuff!"
I laughed so much that DH wanted to know what was going on. When I told him, he too rolled on the floor! The next day, DH told DS, who had the same reaction - plus he said - "I must meet that guy!"
Now, when I'm getting too inquisitive or too "buggy", they will say, "Julie, don't sweat the small stuff!" And we will all laugh. So, Rkkwan gave us a "family joke" that keeps us laughing.
Thanks, Rkkwan!

This is what 44KL looks like. The pictures taken at full recline. The bathroom is behind the seats, but the door opens to the rear, not to the side; it has never been an issue.

Thanks, rkkwan! I had actually seen the seatguru chart once before (love them!) but was concerned about, among other things, the amount of recline. So the photos are a great addition to that info.
