747 to Hawaii?

Are there any airlines that use 747's from LAX to Hawaii?

Yes, the cargo airline Kitty Hawk uses a 747-100.

FedEX uses a MD-11.

Largest passenger plane is DL's 767-400.

If you are willing to fly through Tokyo or Sydney, you can catch a 747 to Hawaii...:-D

ok- i'll admit what i'm up to :) i'm being silly. i've never flown on a 747, but want to. our next vacation coming up is LA- Maui. we almost always fly AA or one of their partners, but i would consider booking w/ another carrier just to fly on a 747.

i know that's silly!

Qantas, an AA partner, flies 747-400 between LAX and JFK. Unfortunately, I don't think one can buy just that leg.

Cathay Pacific, another AA partner, flies 744 YVR (Vancouver) to JFK. And they do sell tickets on that flight. But you need to go up to Vancouver to fly that.

UA used to have some 744 flights from SFO or LAX to DEN or ORD. But I can't find any on the schedule anymore.
