Anyone fly Royal Jordanian business class longhaul recently?

As it says in the topic title above, looking for personal experience from anyone who has flown business class on Royal Jordanian in the last year or so. Looking for more, and perhaps less expensive, One World options from London to Bangkok, in addition to British Airways.

In particular, wondering about comfort of seats in business for sleeping. Seat Guru reports seats are angled lie-flat, not flat-bed as on BA. But the video on RJ appears to show the seats going flat, or near enough, clearly not as angled as those 'sleeper seats' on Delta's A330s to Asia.

Thanks so much for any insight...

Out of curiosity, I just looked at the video, and they don't appear flat-flat to me. These look like the ANA seats from NRT-SFO, which I found were NOT comfortable for sleeping.

RJ is probably using the A340.

Here's Seatguru's take on the seats, which are angled flat.

Hit the button too soon.

I tend to take SG's word for it, as they're usually correct.

Have you checked out Skytrax for reviews?

Thanks for your replies! Also picked up some info on FlyerTalk. I think I might check out RJ this summer.

One attraction, in addition to fares, is the opportunity for a two- or three-night stop in Amman to visit Jerash and Petra.

Amman was not very exciting. Jerash & Petra were fabulous.

Definately worth a try. Flew Kuala Lumpur to Amman in August last year on A330. Slept well, better than on Lufthansa. But they are certainly not flat like BA, but they did seem wider. Food and service very good (except for Jordanianwhite wine)

My wife did a couple of narrow-body RJ business class segments (NBO-AMM-AMS) last year and raved about it.

For other Oneworld options, you could check out Finnair's new business class product (lie-flat) through Helsinki, or Malaysia's A380 via Kuala Lumpur.

Again, thank you all for your information! I very much appreciate your input! If, when, I spring for RJ, I'll report back.
