13 hrs. in Korea
Well or four hr. layover in Inchon suddenly turned into 13 hrs. We arrive at 0600 and now leave at 1935. So can we find a hotel in the airport to sack out and would I have to book it for two days as i doubt they would let us in to a room at 0600 so would I have to book it for the day before and try to get a late check out.
Thank you.
Thank you.

The airport itself offers FREE tours ranging from 1 -5 hours. Here is link to check them out
The airport is huge and frankly rather a hassle IMHO due to crowds and having to move between various floors to get anywhere, however if you like to shop etc there is just about everything thing there as well as several food courts.

tours are 2-3-4 and 5 hour so you would have to figure out which ones would work for you. Several hit temples etc, others shopping so its a decent mix.

I think that kind of schedule change means that you can change or cancel/refund the ticket without any fee.
You can probably get a day rate for the day you arrive.
I would think about just booking the one night and then showing up early AM at the hotel and seeing if/when a room is available. Maybe they will want to charge the day rate (aka half-day rate). Then consider that option or the option of going out for the morning. Leave bags at the hotel.

Actually, you can probably get by with just the day rate and not an overnight rate.
I checked on a day rate at a LAX hotel once but didn't use it because the end time of the day rate was hours earlier than I wanted to leave (something like I would have had to check out by 5PM but wanted to stay later). This was just one of the hotels near LAX, not a transit hotel which is what you are looking at. My guess is that the LAX hotel wanted me out because they had an evening housekeeping period. But I think a transit hotel has more frequent, if not continuous, housekeeping.
Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable about this will reply and then we both learn.

I think the daily rate seems like a good idea to pursue and as this is a saver award business class ticket I don't want to change it and anyway I think the daily rate seems like a good idea to pursue and as this is a saver award business class ticket I don't want to change it and anyway I already checked and there are no other saver awards available so the day rate seems to be a very good option
