Zanzibar weather in May

NO it does not rain all day or daily... if it even does.
Zanzibar is tropical, so hot/humid. And, being tropical it's not at all unusual for there to be showers even during so-called 'dry' months.
You might experience brief showers in the morning or afternoon or even an amazing thunderstorm, but none last and soon it's bright and dry.
At least the prices are down and less visitors. But know that some resorts do close for a few weeks during April/May. I'd say 'go and enjoy!'
