Yellow Fever Vaccine 6 Days Prior to Trip

Jump to last reply

It may sound like I'm a poor planner, but I bought tickets to go to Rwanda and I didn't realize that the Yellow Fever vaccine takes 10 days for full affect. Currently, I'm in Morocco and unable to get the vaccine until I go back to London - 6 days before I take off.

Since the travel card is a required entry item, and becomes valid 4 days into the trip, I'm quite worried. Has anyone had major problems with this? What is my risk of getting detained until my vaccine is valid?

I'm really nervous, but I don't want to cancel my trip! HELP!

Any advice is helpful, including a "quick" vaccine that may only be valid for 5 years or something.
