Wildlife Poisoned in Kenya
The Telegraph reports that four Lions were poisoned, two fatally, after feeding on a Hippo which had itself been poisoned from ingesting an agricultural chemical. Similar incidents are also mentioned involving other wildlife poisoned both intentionally and unintentionally. Kenya apparantly allows use of deadly pesticides that have been banned in the U.S., Europe, and elsewhere...

Just awful. Couldn't figure out if this was intentional or unintentional. Doesn't matter to to the lions. I read in the comments that at least one recovered. But how many more animals were affected that we don't know about?
