visas on arrival ??

We are heading to Uganda/Rwanda in Feb/08. Can anyone tell me if it is possible or easy to obtain the visas on arrival. We are flying into Entebbe, but driving into Rwanda. I checked Uganda tourism site and it said they are available at the airport, but would really feel more comfortable hearing from someone who has done it. We went through the same experience last year into Nairobi and Arusha and it was simple to get them at the airports there.
I can send away from here, but really don't like being without passports anymore since we need to take them for travel into the US from Canada now.
Any help greatly appreciated.
