Travelling companion needed
Hello! I'd like to try out my new Toyota Landcruiser for 3 Weeks in Tunisia (fully prepared). I'll start in Switzerland on 28. September 2002 and drive to Tunesia over Genoa (Italy). I'm a 57-year old straight Swiss guy who's already done an overland trip through Africa with the motorbike. I know how to fix the car and can open a beer and a can of beans and now i'm looking for a travelcompanion who knows how to dig out a car (just in case). That means, i'm getting off the beaten track. So if you're interested e-mail me: [email protected]

I'm not so sure about that, xxx writing skills are not that good i believe. He was so far not even able to sign up properly. So writing 'beens' soooo many times might be too much for him. But we'd be generous, we would also accept it if he only cleaned the windshield and the dishes.

Dishes? Are you getting posh on me? I thought we had to eat the bean curry out of the can! Well if we're going 5-star, when the engine overheats, xxx can hold the water hose over my head so I can take a hot shower.<BR>I'm off to S. Africa tomorrow for 2 weeks. Hope you get some fun applicants for Tunesia ;-)

A little luxury from time to time doesn't hurt but you're right, i think i'll leave the good porcelain service at home this time. Jen i wish you a great trip in S-Africa, what a beautiful country. I can understand your decision -explore S-Africa or digging out my car-... Take care and enjoy!

By now, Schteffel, I hope you've got a great companion (snif) and are packing the beans & shovels. South Africa was loaded with superlatives, though I didn't have to do any digging, just a push out of the mud once in Transkei. I gained 3 kilos - far too much good food & wine, & not enough curried beans in a can, I guess... ;-)
