Transport options for Entebbe to Kigali or v/v?
I am doing some initial research on combining Entebbe/Ngamba with Rwanda. What are the transport options for Entebbe to Kigali or v/v? The Rwandaexpress website mentions a flight but their schedule seems out of date.

I believe Rwandair Express is the only carrier offering nonstop service. I was able to pull up flight times on itasoftware.com but you can't book through this site.
Are you traveling anywhere else in Uganda? If you're going to be in Bwindi or some other southern location, it may be just as easy to transfer by road vs returning to Entebbe and flying.
I'd be interested in what you find too.

Thanks Patty. I will check the itasoftware link when I get home.
(My company's network security will no longer let me access itasoftware. Do they really expect me to work 10 hours a day without stopping to plan future Africa trips? Shessh...)
From what I have so far in my very preliminary research, the odds of seeing the gorillas are better in Rwanda, and it is a much shorter drive from Kigali to the the gorilla park. In Uganda, I just really want to go the Ngamba Island. Playing with the chimps sounds like so much fun!

From my limited research, I believe the odds are very, very good in either country. I don't think I've yet to read an account of anyone failing to find the gorillas in Rwanda or Uganda. You're right that the drive from Kigali to Parc National des Volcans is much shorter than the drive from Entebbe to Bwindi.
If you're interested in chimps, you may also want to consider the habituation program or just a chimp trek in Kibale Forest in Uganda. The habituation is now only offered in the months of Apr/May/Jun/Nov, I believe. There's an account of the habituation program posted by atravelynn on this board.
How frustrating it must be not being able to plan your Africa trip from work

What I meant to say is that I have not read an account of anyone failing to find the gorillas. I started writing one thing, changed mid-sentence, didn't erase the first part, and it all came out as one confusing statement!
