has anyone been on the sunboat cruise on the nile, please advise how you would rate it? Is it worth the experience?

I did a 4-day Nile Cruise in Dec 95. It was stunning. The service as well as the accommodation was excellent. The view from the sun-decks, the scenery, shore-excursions etc. was worth every cent! Go for it!

We went on a 4 night cruise on the Nile and it was nice and we enjoyed the great views but I would recommend spending most of your time on land. If you have a few weeks to spend, then do the cruise but if you only have a week or few days, then skip it.

We went on a 7 day Nile cruise last year. It was excellent and terrific value for money. The boat that we were on, MS Glory was very clean and well appointed. Food was good, probably better than expected but we were really not too sure what to expect! The guide travelled with us and was very well educated and knowledgable as well as being friendly and good fun. A must was the 'extra' trip to Abu Simbel. Very early morning coach drive through the desert. Excellent. Do it! best time is March / April or late September / October.

Went on a 5 day Nile cruise in 1988. It was one of the most incredible expriences of my life! The boat was O.K. but then again, you're not going for the boat ride. The guide spoke perfect English and the sights are unforgettable. Have a great time!
