Hello Amelie,

Jumeirah, Sheikh Zayed Road and certain areas of Bur Dubai come highly recommend for special Getaways such as your Wedding Anniversary. You would want to avoid certain crowded and Business-centric Districts.

Most of the Hotels in these Dubai Districts especially Jumeirah and Sheikh Zayed Road are mainly 5 or 4 Star to give you that extra touch.

Abu Dhabi which is a manageable drive from Dubai tends to also work well with couples as it's much calmer for those seeking unrivaled beauty combined with quiet time, away from the fast life in the streets of Dubai. Abu Dhabi is also home to Ferrari World/Ferrari Theme Park. Spending a few nights in Abu Dhabi will be equally rewarding.

The main meal plan for most Hotels is Bed and Breakfast while most of other meals are available at eateries in Malls and other food outlets or the many Hotels. It will be good to know that most of the Excursions like Dhow Cruises and Desert Safaris come with Dinner depending on the service provider.

As a guiding factor, first choose the right Hotel that meets your taste and preferences in the right district aided by reputable reviews, then select the Excursions/Attractions from the many available.

Local taxis work well when it comes to visiting some of the sites or participate in the activities. Alternatively, you could have an itinerary put together by a reliable ground service provider that will meet you, coordinate all your movements and provide your Tickets on your Dubai Arrival.

With this info you will no-longer be a newbie to Dubai
