Met an Armenian that argued Mt Ararat is in Armenia...though I thought it was in Turkey. Somewhat dissentment (ie Turkey vs Armenia)...has anyone seen Noah's ark...?
Or it a myth?

u r right! Mt. Ararat is in Turkey.
(though i seem to remember having read long time ago that it is in Armenia)
i've been a few times at the footsteps of the mountain (Agri Dagi) near Dogubayazit (all 3 G's are not pronounced)which is quite close to the IRANian border !!
Actually there is a debate on the identification of the mountain. but the "official" Ararat is Agri Dagi.
the name Ararat probably comes from the Urartu Kingdom (Assyrian times) in that same area
aby
PS just by chance, last week i've seen for the first time the Ararat from the height of the flight of a 767 Boeing !! it was awesome !!!

AFAIK to date no one has ever found any remnants ofNoahs ark. It was supposed to have been built of wood, so not very likely that any parts would have withstood the passage of time, even if the stroy is true.
As far as location, there are arguements aplenty of what parts of that area are Turkey, what parts are Armenia and what parts are/should be the Kurdish nation...
Is that mountain really the Mt. Ararat mentioned in the Bible? Unproven, one way or the other.

Ararat is a REGION when described in the Book of Genesis. The ark is said to have rested 'upon the mountains of Ararat' in Gen 8:4. Nobody has proven whether the ark rested on the Turkish or Armenian side of the border

Some contend it is up there on NASA photos pretty iffy...
No conclusive evidence to date.
Genesis says the ark came to rest on the
MOUNTAINS of Ararat a wide region includes
Turkey Armenia some Iran some hikers say they have
found mussels indicative of a seashore there.
So still pretty much up for grabs for me...
