Moulay-Yacoub Hot Spring near Fez, Morocco
We will be in Fez (or Fes) Morocco in November, and I just found out that Moulay-Yacoub is only about 20 km from Fez (maybe 1/2 hour by car).
I also found out that you can talke a grand taxi there. My question is: besides the spa, or the local hamam, is the village itself interesting enough to spend the rest of the day there? with some information I can determine, if I get a private car, for how long to book the car.
I read that the spa is "overpriced, for tourists etc. etc.", so I am thinking of going to the local hamam (much cheaper too but not as "clean". Is there only 1 local hamam in the village?
If someone has been to Moulay-Yacoub your comments are much appreciated. Thanks.

When I was there over 10 years ago I don't recall anything fancy or upmarket at all. Is the spa new or did I ignore it? The place I went to might have been the hammam-- it was not very new or very clean but like a run down municipal swimming pool. But positive, local vibes. Water was fine. There is an attractive walk up a hill to see the town. Fine view.
