MOROCCO FOR 10 DAYS

Jump to last reply

we are going to morocco for 10 days in january (18-28). we've booked a hotel for the first 6 nights in marrakech and are leaving the last 4 open for adventure. we are flying in and out of marrakech.

any advice on what to do with those last 4 days, for that time of year? we are pretty open to suggestion and like to do all sorts of things. should we book in advance, or can we wait until we get there?

also- is 6 nights in marrakech too much? will we have enough to do, or should we plan day trips out of the city? suggestions on day trips would be helpful also.

my main concern is the weather- we know it will be chilly, but will this hinder our overall experience? is it warm at all??

is there a "desert experience" that's do-able and worth it, for those 4 days? any suggestions on places to stay? we'd rather not travel for an entire day by bus, but if you think it's worth it- we'd definitely consider it!

i've read that Essaouira is a nice place. good for 3/4 days? or a day trip? does January have any bearing on this?

thanks for any help!
