Mobile Safari - 16 nights in a TENT!

Clicking on the link below will take you to my photo-essay describing a Bushways safari with this itinerary:

5 nights Central Kalahari Game Reserve
1 night in Maun
2 nights Okavango Delta
1 night in Maun
3 nights Moremi Game Reserve
3 nights Chobe National Park
1 night at Victoria Fall

It was all quite fabulous and I hope you find something to enjoy.

Wow, aardwolves and bat eared foxes and a Black Mamba and wild dogs and a LEOPARD FAMILY! Lucky you!

"We were holding our breath and clicking away like crazy people." - Love it! I've been one of those crazy people!

The "birds that picks gnats and such off the bodies of mammals" are oxpeckers.

"Periscope Up!" - love it!

"those Namibians will do anything and are usually up to no good." - I heard the very same thing from our guides, Simon and Joyce Paul.

You've told a lovely story and great pics and I really enjoyed your trip. Thanks!

Cindy

Thank you DJCat, it WAS a great trip.

Cindy, lucky me is right. Thank you for the oxpecker identification and especially thank you for reading All Those Words!

I think I should have posted the link like this: http://averysenioryearabroad.com/Cha...d=364&size=big so the pictures would come up big automatically.

Loved it! Loved it! Great story, great photos. Thanks for the identifications! I could never do a trip like that..too rugged, but I envy it. You saw more than those of us staying in lodges. But 16 days is long. I notice you were only American. Good for you!
