Just Back Tanzania, Kenya & Rwanda
Hi Fodor Folks,
Got back last night from our 3 week trip. It was great and I will be posting a trip report. Just a few highlights:
1. mobile camping in the Serengeti for 3 nights right in the middle of the migration. Wilderbeast sounds all night!
2. Cheetahs hunting and feeding--multiple times
3. Watching a pride of lions hunt in Amboseli
4. Having a gorilla brush your leg while walking on the trail
5. Watching the silverback mate (Amarhilo sp?)
Too many others to mention right now. Still getting over the trip home and just finished dowloading 2200 pics and 48 movies. Now the editing begins!
More to come.
Marty

Hello martync,
I am quite excited to hear how your trip went. It sounds more or less like my October trip. Except:
My cheetahs wouldn't chase after anything.
No lions in Amboseli
Did have a gorilla brush by me.
Saw the Amaharo group and congrats to that grandpa silverback for having any mating left in him He seemed like he was ready to be put out to pasture when I was there.
Can't wait to see your movies and video )
