For good deals, I'd go through London. There have been lots of postings on hotels in Mauritius recently - try the search option above. I liked LE Saint Geran, Prince Maurice, LE toussroc.

Try Air France via Paris. AF doesn't fly every day of the week.

I went to Mauritius over Christmas holidays. I live in Moscow so I went via Paris on Air France. My husband and I stayed at The Residence.their website
www.theresidence.com It was pricey but worth every penny.

Hi June,
try Air France - as Mauritius was oversea departement of France
or
Lufthansa via Fra/Muc

Alternative would be taking a cheap airline to AMS, FRA or CDG or MUC and than
take a renown charter airline such
as UTA(french), Martinair(dutch)
Condor/LTU (german)
That saves money too sometimes, and those charter carriers are quality brands around the continent.
More info needed - email me
Shain/E.U./germany/Düsseldorf

If I remember correctly, Mauritius does not authorize charter companies.
Their point is to protect Air Mauritius.

If you do not mind making an other connection, you can take Corsair (quite cheap) (not UTA) from Paris to Réunion, then take a last flight to Mauritius

Hi June

There are plenty of excellent beach resorts in Mauritius. The best resort is the Royal Palm Hotel. There are plenty of other deluxe and first class hotel resorts to choose from. Email me and I can try and help you find the accommodation you require.

Regards Helen
