Google Earth for Mac Released

In case anybody is interested, Google has released a Mac version of Google Earth. Now anybody with Mac OS 10.4 can check out the www.go-safari.com website and check out the locations in Africa.

http://earth.google.com/download-earth.html

I've spent the last few minutes playing with it, and it looks pretty much like the PC version.

THANK YOU, Lifelist!

The latest Masai Mara, Serengeti and NCA map files have been posted on go-safari.com and these are very accurate now!

OK this ROCKS!!!

I am trying to find the Serengeti Serena on their.
I would also love to find Ilkeliani in the Mara.
Hopefully someone will do Biwindi in Uganda and some part of the volcanoes in Rwanda.

By the way, do you know if anyone has done Machu Picchu in Peru. I have been trying to find that but the whole area is dark.

YES, yes, yes! Finally! I guess the number emails I sent to my friend who works at Google must have finally paid off...

Cheers,

Wayne

I have both the Serena and Ilkeliani marked. Just grab the Serengeti and Masai Mara KMZ files from go-safari.com
Eben

I am planning a trip to Uganda to map it as I've been their before and I have quite a few waypoints already!

Eben

(Everyone, please take a small GPS on safari and help us plot those interesting spots on GE!)

Eben,
I just sent you an email with my GPS points from November. Let me know if you have any questions about them.

AARGH! It's like a terrible tease...they only support OS10.4!!! Why, why, why, when the Windows version supports multiple versions of the OS?
