Hello,

We will be staying in Meknes for a little more than 2 weeks. Because of certain other reasons, we need to stay in an apartment. The apartment host said, internet connection is available at the apartment. Since we need to work remotely, I want to make sure we will have good internet connection.
Does anyone know if the internet speed is good.
And if the internet speed at the apartment is not good, what are our options ?

It depends on the contract of the apartment owner with his internet provider.

A hotel or a café with wifi.

Actually, I did not care about wifi because I used my smartphone to create a hotspot. You will need internet connection for your smartphone anyway - at least for Google Maps to navigate through the medinas in Morocco.

We ended up staying at a different apartment and longer than 2 weeks. This apartment did not have internet. We bought a hotspot from a company called inwi. It was fine.
If someone needs to use a lot of data , it might need to be recharged more often but for us it worked just fine.

sdg, please tell us how you purchased the inwi hotspot. From home before you left? When you arrived in Morocco? Where?

Sorry, did not see this before. I hope I am answering on time for you.
We purchased the hotspot once we were in Morocco. Looked up inwi stores on google map and just went to a store and bought the hotspot.
