We (two adults, 3 children aged 5-11) are looking for a farm stay vacation in Tanzania, with the option of safari added. I'd love to hear anyones experiences of this or similar.

Actually I have been to Makoa farm a few years ago. They have a lovely location with fabulous views of Kilimanjaro, and loads of animals which I am sure your kids will love. We horse ride so that is what we did there, not sure how long you are staying or how long you would be there, but I think you will like it. I still remember their lovely cats sneaking into our room and staying the night, they sent coffee in the next morning with a special bowl of milk for the cats! If you like animals go, if you don't then it might be a mistake.
