car rental conditions in Morocco

We are a Ukrainian twosome. We decided to pass our honeymoon in Morocco. Unfortunately, we have no idea on car lease in Morocco. we need to have some information on the documents we have to submit when we hire a car, delivery and recovery of the vehicle, What does our rental include. We have already thinked of a rental agency "tonus car". How does it work? Have you any suggestions?

I'm a French citizen but i live currently in Morocco.I manage a small business here. I travel widely from Agadir to France & vice versa.That's way i think i can be very helpful. to hire a car you have to submit your driver licence,and Passport. The payment is by credit card or cash. The delivery and recovery of the vehicle is made on place,& time of your choice. Tonus-car has currently fur agencies in Casablanca, Agadir, Marrakesh, and Rabat. You may pick up and drop off your rental with or without driver at the airport.

You'll need your driving licence and passport for each driver, just as anywhere else. Morocco has all the main international car rental companies, but they operate as a franchise there, so the standard of the car that you get is not usually the same as in Europe. I've yet to get one that was low mileage or clean, even with Hertz. Take great care to note any bumps and scratches when you collect the vehicle.

You'll also have all the usual choices regarding insurance, whether to take Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) or not. You will be able to collect your car from one of the many offices at the airport that you fly into, or arrange delivery and collection at your hotel.

We rented from Thrifty for two weeks when we were there in December with no problems-out of Marrakesh.

A valid drivers' license and the passport.Then you signed an agreement.You will be asked to submit a copy of the credit card record as a warrany.When you return the car you will be given it back.

Payment is either cash in local currency, hard currency or credit card.

Best;
