Abu Simbel or Valley of Kings?
We have been to Egypt many times and this time we are booked on a Nile Cruise. My question is if you could only do one of these historical sites which one would be better, Abu Simbel or Valley of the Kings? Both are extra sections that are not seen on the cruise.

For Abu Simbel, from Aswan it's either a road (I wouldn't) or flight to/from.
For VofK/Q, as the boat either starts or concludes at Luxor, it's easy enough to visit VofK/Q with a day included part of most cruises to do so.
When we visited we flew from CAI via ASW (didn't even stop here as all paxs were going) to ABS, visited here balance of morning, then flight to ASW to board boat for cruise 2/days, with a few stops along the way, to LUX where we were able to visit VofK/Q.
Suggest you verify the routing of the cruise to determine whether VofK/Q is included.
