6 days 5 nights in Namibia

Hi, I am looking for some help with an itinerary for a trip to Namibia in Oct. We have 6 full days and 5 nights. Arrive and depart from Windhoke. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thank you

WHat is your budget per person? Do you want to see animals or landscape? With only six days you will likely want to fly from place to place on scheduled light air circuits.

We were able to do 2 nights Sousesvlei, 3 nights Damaraland, and 1 night Swak if I'm recalling correctly. You can click on my name and find the trip report. I might have missed 1 day. I think it depends on what you want to see and do. For us, we only needed 1 night Swak because we were there for sand boarding only. Damaraland was a must for desert elephants and the Himba and the dunes were a must as well. We skipped safari as we have done many trips in SA, Kenya and Tanzania but for lots of ppl, this is also a must do. So my advice is to figure out what's most important to you and prioritize with so little time.

Good luck and have fun!

If you have that amount of time I would suggest either doing the southern circuit or the northern circuit from WHK. In the south it is all about the landscape and vegetation and dunes and up north more about the wildlife if you include Etosha National Park.

The country is really big and if you are going by vehicle I would not suggest trying to cover everything is 6 days.

In the South I would suggest to see Fish River, Aus, Luderitz and then up through Sossusvlei and Swakopmund back to WHK.

If you want to go North then possible Damaraland, through Etosha and back down to Windhoek.

If you have the budget to fly it changes things

I hope that helps

2 nights in Sesriem and 3 nights in Etosha is my suggestion.
