Wildlife TZ in Feb '08

Hello All,

After going through many of the previous post, I still have a few q.

4 of us are planning to go about the same time - last week of Feb 08. Primarily interested in wildlife photography.

From other posts, it really seems like Ndutu lodge is the best place to be. However, if we stay at Ndutu do you think we should also do NGO crater or it is not as worth?

Please check -

Senthil, I posted an answer on the other thread.

If you make it to Ndutu let me know, we'll be there late Feb '08 ...

Thanks a lot Bill for the elaborate account. We really hope to get accommodation at Ndutu. Do you any suggestions? Have asked the tour operator to check.

Thanks,
Senthil

I hear many people who had trips to both Kenya and Tanzania have cancelled both legs because of the Kenya situation, so maybe you can snag a cancellation ... here's the 'availability' chart showing openings Feb 24 - 25 for example:

http://www.ndutu.com/upload/Availability.html ... I would email them directly at the link on their web page and ask.

Good luck!

Hi Bill,

I did manage to accommodation at Ndutu for Feb 26, 27 and 28th.

Do you think I should go to Seronera region/Serengeti for a day or not worth it?

Cheers,
Senthil

Hi Senthil,

I am planning to do that myself, I am staying in Ndutu and depending upon what is going on at Ndutu I plan to drive up to the Seronera area. I am sure it will be worthwhile.
