Hi JP
I went to exeter leadwood in January of 2006 and had a great time. The rooms are as luxurious as Singita Boulders and the food was great. The camp is run by a husband and wife team(Andrew and Nicolene). Andrew is a great ranger,I saw leopards everyday, followed the Sand River pride for 4 hours until seeing an Impala kill.I also witnessed a female Leopard with her two three month old cubs kill an impala close to River lodge.Ask for room nr 2-great view. Groete my ou maat! |
I was at Exeter Dulini last August. They hv a co-aliton of 6 male lions in the area (Former Eyrefield). Leopard viewing like anywhere in the SSGR. I saw a female leopard kill nyala and hoist it up a tree.
Enjoy!!! Hari |
Was at Exeter River last Aug/Sept. Excellent game viewing, even from room. I posted details eleswhere but from plunge pool saw lions on a buffalo kill, elephants, hyenas harrsssing hippos, crocs, baboons, some great birds and more. Since it was so good we did a morning drive and relaxed in the pool in the afternoon. Ask for Marcelino as a guide if he is available. Tell him George says hello and how's his green laser pointer working.

Safarinut,
Are you South African? Everyone else, We are staying 1 night at Leadwood and 1 night at Dulini. We could not get 2 consecutive nights at 1 lodge. Is 2 nights sufficent??(we are staying at Olifants camp for 5 nights and Pretoriuskop camp for 1 night beforehand) Which ranger should I request for at Dulini? Which room should I request for at Dulini? Baie dankie Safarinut! |
