Wilderness Trails - Umfolozi

Has anyone participated in the Wilderness Trails walking safari (4-day or weekend) in Umfolozi? Do you recommend it? What are the tents like?

I've done over a dozen trails since they very first started: can't recommend them highly enough even though they're a lot more sophisticated than they used to be! A moderate degree of fitness is all that's required: one usually does not walk too far in a day. Tents are (or were last time I went) erected in bomas for safety at night: nothing fancy but perfectly comfortable. It's not Abercrombie & Fitch but it's not backpackers either: what it is is an astonishing experience with knowledgeable guides in an area of great beauty and history. Oh yes, the game's pretty good too! Nothing less than the 4 day trail. Hamba kahle!
