Why am I being quoted a large supplement for a Sonesta cruise on the Nile?

When you're at the VoK we highly recommend paying the supplement for Ramses V/VI - the ceiling is magnificent

Also we went to Medinat Habu near Hatsheput Temple - not as busy and some remarkable giant carvings around the exterior and lots of colour left in the interior

Have a great trip!

Hi I am just back from a 15 night trip to Egypt -which was excellent
Itinerary as follows:

3 nights Hurghada --- Oberoi Dahl Hasheesh

6 nights Nile cruise --- Oberoi Philae

1 night Abu Simbel --- Seti Hotel

5 nights Cairo --- 2 nights Mena House (Oberoi)
---- 3 nights Cairo Marriott and Casino

All internal bookings -Hotels, cruise, overland transfer Hurghada to Luxor, flights aswan -abu simbel ,, Abu simbel -cairo - were arranged by Lady Egypt. for me
They also arranged welcomes and transfer from airports to hotels. chauffeur driven cars and private guides in Cairo/Alexandria and in Abu simbel
My trip was excellent, well paced ,and we had time daily to relax in great comfort
I was not completely happy with the original Cairo/Alexanadria itinerary and it was no problem to re-arrange and modify it when we reached Cairo
The company took excellent care of us-I felt like I was being looked after by family- and the drivers were professional and I enjoyed the guides that were provided
On the Oberoi Philae. daily small group guided tours were provided and included -these were great

We were on the Oberoi Philae and had a small group of about 10 people with a very good guide for the 5 days of touring-do not worry-you do not need a one on one guide- Aa well we arranged for an extra 1/2 day of tours to see the vallwy of the nobles and queen Hapshetsut's temple that was not included on the Oberoi tours found Lady Egypts pricing very fair
