Sandi - Thanks for the tips on Cairo. I think it is wise to give the kids some pool time. I also wanted to thank you for all of your other replies to my many questions on different posts. You have given me some very big insite into the logdes. I guess I will need the extra money I will be saving with the guide to help defray the cost of Shompole, which became another one of my must do's after I saw your beautiful pictures.
I heard that the General Manager for many years at Elsa’s has moved to Shompole. Does a change in managers make a big difference? I know that Elephant Pepper has a new host as of June/July as well.

... the costs at Mnemba, also!
Yes, at Shompole, the former managers from Elsa's are now here. Be aware, thought, that it's not unusual for managers to move around for any number of reasons - new environment, different theme, varied game; likewise, guides also move from camp to camp. Hey, we change jobs!
I don't know who the new managers are at Elephant Pepper, but if anywhere as wonderful as their previous managers, you'll be in fine hands.
Glad to help.

Except for Mnemba (Peter is still there!) I have to think hard to find a camp that did not change mgmt this year!
BTW, the managing couple who until earlier this year really helped shape Shompole (Greg and Claire du Toit) are now at Jongomero in Ruaha!
