But seriously folks...

The East Africa Index and Southern Africa Index would be nice additions to the Africa and Middle East Home Page. More useful than posts with the most replies.

It looks like the most replies list has already been taken down. Another step in the right direction.

I don't mean to highjack your thread, Lynn, but I have updated my trip report and there are more honey badger shots for you - see pages 30 and 31. Robin

Robin, feel free to hijack and I saw the honey badgers. Beautiful closeups. How did they react to you?

The badgers completely ignored us - seemed unaware that we were there, even though we were only 5m away. Perhaps they were having too much success with the lizards to care!

Here's another reason why those indexes (or is it indices)for East and Southern Africa would be good. They have reports that go back 3 plus years. I still find info pertinent from over 3 years ago.

For example, you could go a lot longer than 3 years and not see any honey badger photos like Canadian Robins!

One more complaint to put in the pile....

The 'jump to last post' should be at the TOP of the entire thread, not at the bottom of the op's thread. Like when you get long winded people like me..... I had to really search for it when I was jumping to the last thread in my index just now.

And then I pressed the wrong button to go back to the top - pressed 'reply' instead and got a blank reply, but that's my fault I know!

Oh - and forgot to add that yes, I agree with Lynn - I would like to see the two trip report indexes as a sticky at the beginning of the trip reports instead of the 'most popular' threads. The most popular threads are topped anyways - if they are the most popular, then they will keep coming to the top automatically.

And I agree about the colours & the slow wait time.

But I also agree about Patty's 'likes' - I like that trip reports are tagged - makes my job much easier! And I like to see who started the thread, that's cool.

I don't mind the day by day archives, but I did like the older way better.

I LOVE the new profile stuff - I had fun filling mine out and had fun reading the few who had filled theirs out so far!

Just decided to 'View More Trip Reports' to look for my own and it's not there. Was I supposed to have the words 'trip report' in the heading? It's not on my profile either. How do I get it included?

Hi mazj--I'll go back and tag it in our system. It should show up shortly. We tried to tag as many as possible before launch (we had to do it manually) but I'm still keeping an eye out for more. Plus, many have sent us emails to [email protected] (I posted this email pre-launch).

Thanks Katie. That's yet another task you must do.

Lynda, I read your profile. Love the cheetahs.
