Safety in Jordan

Has any been to Jordan since the US pulled all the military troops out? We are scheduled to go the last week of September and was wondering if it is safe. The tour company has not canceled to date and would like to hear from anyone who has heard anything. Thank you.

I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has traveled to Jordan in the past month. Any problems at all?

Have friends there right now, I can ask them in about 3 weeks when they get back and post then if it still helps. They never expressed any safety concerns about going if that helps...

Anybody hear of any incidents or hostility toward Americans. I will be going in October and need to hear some words of advise. I did read from CNN That there is an advisorary out for the Arabian Gulf and the Arabian pennisula.

Tony,

Jordan is a very safe and very inviting country. There are many wonders to see including Petra, Jerash, Wadi Rum, etc. We found the people to be delightful, the scenery to be breathtaking and the archeological sites to be exceptional. Go and enjoy! Safe travels

I just returned from Jordan. I found the people there welcoming and courteous. I had a wonderful time and felt absolutely no danger.
