Which Flying doctor service

I've googled this but get lots of responses - which group do I want to sign up with? Thanks!

Sharon - much of the threads here refer to the Flying Doctor's serving Kenya and Tanzania.

Don't know whether there are similar services in the Southern Africa countries. Let's see what others have to say.

Oh crumb! Well, let's hope I don't fall out of the land rover and break an ankle! :-D

Thanks Sandi!

RE: Flying Doctor's membership--the farthest we are traveling away from Nairobi is Western Serengeti, do you recommend the 1000km membership or the 600km distance membership? We are not sure how far in air-kilometers Western Serengeti is from Nairobi base for Flying Doctors coverage. Thanks for your answers!

Don't know the distances, but for a combined Tanzania/Kenya itinerary for 2-weeks, the fee should only be $25/$30 person. If only visiting Tanzania, the fee may only be $15/$20 person. Both include the Western Serengeti.

Cooncat. I just joined Flying Doctors. I didn't know which membership to get because I'm going to TZ/Rwanda. I e-mailed Nathan, and he said 1000K.Here's the website:
