To be fair, I've never been to Etosha but everyone we met in Namibia was either heading there or had been there.

As Patty, I haven't been to Etosha, though Namibia is still on my list. But from those friends who have, all said Etosha was the busiest place and full of tourists. Whether in private vehicles or groups... it might have been time of year.

Maybe you can lose the Etosha crowds at Namutoni. I'd want to go include Okaukeujo. Places like Ongava are not supposed to be crowded, but they are more expensive.

I'd like a small group trip (or a private one if I could afford it) that goes to lodges or camps at the public sites and includes some place like Ongava too. I don't want to drive this alone.

You could probably even keep the heels on if you didn't leave the bus. ;)
