Where is Rocco?

Does anybody know the whereabouts of 'Destiny Africa's owner, Mr. Rocco Morelli?

Fugitive from justice.

AWOL

Rocco Morelli is an alias name. Funny that the real name has the same initials. I never thought that this old criminalistic rule of people taking the same initials for their pseudonyms is true...

That way you don't have to buy new monogrammed luggage.

Napamatt,

Fugitive from justice? I noticed that his wesite is incomplete and that his English contact's comments have vanished from this board in the past several months??

nyama Sep 1st, 2007 05:51 PM

Rocco's English contact is no longer related to Destiny Africa and has created his own travel agency. You will find him at TripAdvisor.

The site is as complete as it ever has been.
As a T/A it appears RM forgot to forward final payment to various lodges for his customers, some of whom surfaced here. Since his disappearance we haven't heard from them either, which I assume means a less than satisfactory outcome for them.

Ah, how far the mighty have fallen!

africaddict Sep 2nd, 2007 01:01 PM

I am one, who after much heartache managed to get back our deposit from Mr. Morales.
So, yes a positive outcome for us, but one that I cannot recommend going through again! :'(
Cheers
Marc

I'm so happy to hear you were successful. I imagine it was a nightmare.
