When you travel for long periods of time, what do you do with your pet(s)?

Not in our case. He apparently was a juvenille diabetic that was not diagnosed till much later (unfortunately). Now he is both diabetic and underweight We have spent the last three years trying to keep his weight up. Prior to being diagnosed and taking insulin, he was a healthy lean weight. But weight definitely plays a factor in producing insulin resistance, which is the basis for Type II diabetes -- as in humans.

Wow....I jinxed myself She just told me on the phone that it's getting hard on her (she's 70+) and that she is giving us ONE YEAR notice. Yes -- the one year notice is great....but I am sad that our 'perfect solution' will end.
