what to wear to look less like a tourist

We are two travelling next week into Morocco.
What do men wear in country? We'll likely figure out how to get out of Casablanca quickly (we arrive late at night on the 10th)and go to Rabat/Sale, Fez, Meknes and Marrakech (if time, to the Atlas and gorge)
We leave the 20th. Too little time, our first visit.

What do men and women wear? tks, rick

conservative western dress is fine for both men and women. you will see moroccans in western dress and also in traditional jbellahs (sp?) but no one seems to expect tourists to wear moroccan clothing. (in fact, when we saw tourists wearing them, they looked kind of silly.) We also saw a few tourists in shorts or kind of revealing clothing; personally I wouldn't do this as it seems a little less than respectful.
also make sure you take sweatshirts, jackets or sweaters as it may be chilly at night.
try to get to the gorges and//or the sahara if possible, a highlight of the country!
have a great time; it's a beautiful country.
