What happened to atravelynn's trip report?
Did it get deleted because it wasn't about Africa? Hmm... I just got time to read her report and the link that was posted here is gone. Not cool if someone "triangled" her - she is one of the most respected travelers on this forum. So what if it got off topic.

Agree with you CB. Always good to hear from atravelynn, an old timer here. Not really old, just been around a good while, you know what I mean :)

Would also add that for me no more off-topic than a posting wanting information about the Luxor light show.

Which report? What did I miss?? Hers are always among my favorites, Africa-related or not.

Check out Alaska...It is a doozy with great pictures.

It's worth putting on your parka and going over to the US board to see her photos.

lynns trip reports are always so wonderful. She could make a trip to the bathroom into a riveting trip report!
|
My favorite was/is about her wearing thigh high waders!!!! Remember that one???

Wonderful trip report - as always - here's the link to it on the US Board

Tom, hah, I agree about the Luxor light show!

Thank you for the support! I believe it got shifted over to the US. So I got shifted, not triangled.
The second album does include one photo of the waders again. Tom, I think your imagination has turned my overall style waders into thigh highs. |
Thanks atravelynn, good report and great pictures.
I wonder why they shifted the Alaska topic to the USA. Most Alaska topics are in the Cruise Forum , I guess because most people take the Alaska Cruise out of Seattle or Vancouver. Anyway Elizabeth_S ..thanks for the link. |
Hmmm, I did a search for your old posts on "waders" and nothing came back. Perhaps it is just my imagination :)

Lillipets, it is you that have a way with words based on that witty compliment.
However, I happen to have a bathroom trip report from an Alaska visit in 2002. There are no photo albums to go with it, though. At a Lake Clark bear camp, the facilities were an open air throne, behind a sheet of tent nylon. As I was attending to business at these facilities, the camp canine which was half wolf paid me a visit. We guests had been given strict orders never to touch the dog because she was not friendly, but we were told she was not aggressive if left alone. As the wolf-dog sniffed around the loo, I sat motionless, feeling extremely vulnerable and exposed. Fortunately it turned out to be just another routine trip to the ladies room for us both. |
