What could I do with ten days in Capetown?

It's likely that I shall travel to Capetown for 10 days in December or for 18 days in March depending on the other destination I am researching.
Which month and what itinerary would you suggest for each time period.
A trip to Kruger would be a dream come true. I love nature and quiet areas.
Thanks in advance!

December is peak time for travel to Cape Town as it is school vacation in South Africa. Demand for accommodation is at a premium. As full as Cape Town can be, it is never unbearable.

March is much quieter and the weather is still great, although cooler.

There is an incredible amount to do and see in Cape Town.If you do a search here On Cape Town, you will get a tremendous amount of information on sightseeing as there have been many posts on that topic.

Kruger is very hot in December and it is peak rates at the private game parks. I think March still may have the same high rates but the weather is probably a bit more pleasant.

All told, I think I would go for March as you will have more time to enjoy South Africa and everything is less crowded.
