Weather in Morocco in January and any comments on OAT trip
Taking a OAT trip in mid January to Rabat, Volubillis, Fez,Erffoud, Rissani, tented camping near Merzouga,, Tineghir, Dades Valley, Ait Benhaddou, Marrakesh.
Wondering about weather, kind of clothing we might need and any reviews of OAT trip to Morocco. Thanks for any advice. We are returning to States after a year in Melbourne so trying to figure out what we need to pack, |
It may be sunny and kind of warm but gets extremely chilly at night... have a sweater/ jacket to add on when needed... the tented camping I would advise on bringing warm hats with you, glaves too, do not forget flash light, sun glasses & wiper--handsantizer..
Note that it may shower too during that time of year especially North Fez, Rabat..etc Someone may comment on OAT. Best |
Thanks! Like 65° warm? Yes, figured it isn't be chilly I. The desert at night. Thanks for the other suggestions...things that are easy to bring but you don't think of,

Oops!, iPad spell check is a killer! Meant to say, "figured it might be chilly in the desert at night......"

I toured Morocco with Intrepid in November a few years back. It was very chilly in the mountains but doesn't look like you're going there. I did one trip with OAT and swore "never again", but a lot of people like them.

My pleasure! yes around that range.

see the 365 day forecast site sunpreview it could help you for january

January can be chilly some areas. Be prepared with layers as temps can vary widely And in the desert, even more layers... socks, thermals, gloves, scarves... especially once the sun sets.
