weather in desert in July

I apologize if this info is already on this board but I couldn't find it...I've looked through travel books and can't find this info - can anyone tell me just how how it gets in the desert in Namibia in July? just trying to get a ballpark figure! Thanks in advance.

Can't give specifics, but understand from planning a trip a few years back (which was eventually postponed) - the heat starts in November. So July should be mild. And if true desert the nights and mornings can be downright cold.

I was in Namibia last August and the desert ranged from freezing cold to hot as hell in the same day. And the thirstiest place I've ever been - stock up on water every chance you get. Don't even think about being without water by your side for a moment!
