Visa still available at Jomo Kenyatta airport oin Nairobi?

I was in Nairobi 2 years ago & was able to purchase my visa for $50 US cash at the airport when I arrived.

I am going back in September & I am being told that this service is no longer available and that I would need to send my passport to the Kenyan High Commission here in Canada via a travel agent at over 3 times the cost.

Has anyone been to Nairobi airport recently and can clarify this for me?
Thanking you ALL very kindly.

You can still purchase Visa on arrival at Kenya, price is still USD$50/person.

Only difference is that now it costs more than 13/years ago.

The travel agent is using a service who probably gives them a kick-back.

I purchased a visa at NBO in Jan 2008. Sandi has been there more recently than me.

I was there end-May. In/out of Nairobi twice.

Again, you can purchase your visa on arrival Kenya, at international (JKIA) or domestic (Wilson) airports or land crossings. No need to purchase prior and certainly not to pay a service to obtain for you.

Visa is available on arrival. You can complete the form online, print it, and then just stand in line, watching other people complete theirs
