I saw this on the State Dept website and I thought someone else may need it., too. |
I prefer to get my advice from the UK or Australian Foreign Office web sites. The US is so alarmist.
That's fine. Just posted it for information. To each his or her own. Some will appreciate it and some won't and not all are US citizens either.
Thank you, Caroline. That's good to know. :)
I travel incommunicado so have no access to the outside world. It is what it is, as long as bombs aren't falling or metal flying past my ears.
I downloaded the app to my iPad. I think it's very well done. It's all information that you can find on the State Dept website, but the app is organized so as to navigate the info more easily.
It isn't all scary information either, such as "Get out of Yemen as soon as you can!" There's good, solid background info about every country. Thanks, Caroline! |
I agree, Jeff. I downloaded it too.
I've had it for awhile now and appreciate the information it contains. I don't find it terribly alarmist...maybe I'm not easily alarmed? Just solid info.
