I've just had a look at your blog, I love that they didn't care about your passport or license
when you picked up the rental car and that your house sold while you where away, what an adventure. I look forward to having a more thorough look at your blog and thanks for posting.

It great to see a report on a self driving trip, can you give us any idea of the costs to rent the car?

Thank you so much for sharing the adventure. By the way, I thought Mihingo was very overrated, although i didn't experience the same issues you had with mgmt/staff interactions

hi welltraveledbrit - we paid $1750 US for the rental car, which included full insurance. That was for unlimited mileage for 23 days. I think we could have haggled a bit and got that price down a bit and I am certainly not going to recommend the company considering the problems we had with the vehicle!
