Uganda Question

Where do you stay in Lusaka?

Bwino Jun 9th, 2008 09:26 AM

Hi Cheweyhead

I think you may be confused - Are you talking about Uganda or Zambia?

Lusaka is the capital of Zambia.

Kampala is the capital of Uganda.

You are right. I am actually looking for both -

Kampala/or near EBB and

Lusaka in Zambia

Thanks and sorry for my error.

When in Lusaka we stay at a small gues thouse called Cheetah lodge, not at all fancy but clean and the staff are great and very friendly, nice bar and pool area, decent food and it is close to a major shopping centre - Manda Hill. http://www.chita.co.zm

We stayed at The Boma in Entebbe and The Africana in Kampala. The Bome is a small guest house with incredibly nice owners--close to airport with transportation provided. The Africana is a large hotel in Kampala. You need to stay in the "tower" to avoid noise from all of the parties being held. But the parties of locals were fun to watch. Both places were just fine.
