[UGANDA] Meeting Local People

Hello,

I'm planning a 9 days Classic Tours of Uganda.
Along with the natural beauties, we would like to meet local people.
Are there any excursions that you suggest to enjoy this side of the tour as well?

Thanks.

Daniele

Yes, there are a number of safari operators that focus on community interaction. My guide Raban from Instinct Safaris went to local markets with me, we visited a small community in Queen Elizabeth National Park's salt lake area. Additionally, we visited the Batwa people and the hospital in the small village Rubuguru where our lodge was located near Bwindi rain forest. Their email is [email protected] . I hear of other tour operators that also emphasise community tourism in the area, as well. (instinctsafaris.com)
