We read on another web site that the Turkish tourist visa charge has been raised from $20 U.S. to $45 U.S. Is this true? This is the charge made upon arrival in Istanbul's aiport, paid on the spot in cash, and a postage-stamp-like document pasted into one's passport.

Well, since nobody answered my question, I went to the Turkish Government's web site and found out for myself. Yep, it's now $45. Isn't that a great way to increase tourism!
