Tunisia Wildlife Adventure

Wow! Tunisia! Amazing trip report - check out the wildlife/culture safari taken by the Smith clan this past summer.

Enjoy!

Nice to see what you guys have been up to lately. Even nicer that I get to go on these trips vicariously. They look like hard work.

They are but our work lives tend to be pretty urban so this is our physical time too. Mostly spiritual though;-)

Finally got around to reading this. What fabulous, fabulous photos! (But how sad to read about the state of the wildlif reserves.)

Tunisia has been on my list for a while, and has fallen off a couple of times because of the political situation. Maybe I should take another look before things get worse. But I would be more interested in the ruins and the scenery and the cities than the wildlife, so I wouldn't be following your itinerary.

Thanks Thursdaysd! Yes ours was a fairly unique itinerary for sure. I would recommend going sooner than later actually. If the Brotherhood has their way, the place will be a medieval cesspool in no time.... There really is a LOT to offer in Tunisia.
