We have reserved an "Oceanette" at Storms River Mouth for a few days next Feb. Has anyone stayed there who can share a bit of their experience? We will be driving from Cape Town to Kruger and wonder if 2 nights at Tstsikamma wil be enough to have a good look, cable through the tree tops, etc.

The Oceanettes at Tsitsikamma are great log cabins. They are self catering and I strongly suggest that you take your own food stuffs with you because the food that is available at the Stormsriver Mouth Park superette is not that hot.

Two days should be fine at the Oceanette however 3 days would be even better if you want to do all the activities at the Stormsriver Village. I want to mention that the Stormsriver Mouth is TOTALLY DIFFERENT from the Stormsriver Village. It is at the village where the treetop canopy tour, black water tubing, hikes etc all start from and to get to this area you will have to do quite a long car drive (about 15 km). http://www.stormsriver.com/

The Oceanettes are essentially a camping type accommodation where most locals just barbecue and chill out when they visit the area. There are hikes that can be done however most of the activities are at the village and not in the park.

Hope the above all helps make your stay on the Garden Route a great one.

Very proudly part of the wonderful nation of South Africa
