Trouble Booking Kenya Air

Hello everyone. Im trying to book my flight to rwanda on Kenya Airways but for some reason it keeps saying it cant process it. Ive tried picking the more expensive fares and it works up until i have to pick seats and give my credit card number and then it just tells me it cant do it. Im trying to fly Feb. 7-10 of 2008 and want the 9:30 and 2:15 flights. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm thinking maybe if i wait a couple days it might work? Or is there another site i could use? If it doesnt work ill just go with Rwanda air, but they are more expensive so im hoping not to have to. Thanks for any advice!

What site are you using? I used Travelocity and ultimately had to call Kenya Airways in Chicago to book. (Even though it was listed on Travelocity, they couldn't process it. don't ask me why....!)

yeah i tried kayak.com but they took me to kenya airways website so i tried it there and thats where the problem happened.

I wish I could be of more help. I just called Kenya Airways and booked with them over the phone. I also had to send them a check - they wouldn't take my credit card! (This was back in 2006.) Let us know how things turn out.

Why are you not using a travel agent?

safarimama,

im using a tour op for our safari, but didnt think i really needed their help to book. ive booked lots of flights online and thought it would be simple like all the other ones. i will probably call kenya airways or have my tour op do it for me if its too big of a pain!

Coon,
i will definitely let you all know how it goes. thanks for the info though, im calling them soon!

I tried online too and eventually had to have my travel agent book my ticket on Kenya Air. But if you think Kenya Air was bad, try Precision Air's website! It didn't even work - when I tried booking my flight from JRO to LAU, it ended up sending an email to a travel agent who's email address was no longer in service!
