Trips to complement a stay in Morocco??

Any recommendations for a trip after spending two weeks in Morocco? We are thinking of another destination is north Africa, western Europe or.....?

Spain and Tunisia come to mind but if I were you I would check flights/ferries before you get deep into the planning. I've not been in Tunisia for many a moon, but there is a ton to see there, and as for Spain, what could complement a trip to Morocco better than that?

I considered adding Morocco to my current visit to southern Spain (there now) but the access was more complicated than I would have liked, that is why I advise looking at flights first.

Morocco has great variety and I'd urge you to simply stay and see more of the country than you can in only 2 weeks.

I also recommend that you spend more time in Morocco for more explore this County. More beautiful in spring (mid-March to May) which is almost start, you really enjoy these moments.
Secondly, I recommend you visit Portugal. You really enjoy in Portugal.

I’m planning a trip there next spring and plan to look into adding either the Canary Islands or Madeira. They aren’t that far of a plane trip away (although you may have to connect in Lisbon for Madeira ) and when else will you be this close to these beautiful islands, which I think would be a great antidote to the chaos of Morocco. We’ve already been to both Portugal and Spain so that’s why I’m not interested in those places.

Chaos of Morocco? Sometimes things may appear chaotic when we aren't familiar with a particular form of order.

Mme Perdue....yes, chaos is in the eye of the beholder and I know I’ll find tMarrakech and Fes chaotic!

To the OP . . . Andalusia would be complementary. Alhambra (the crown jewel of Moorish architecture in Spain), Cordoba, Sevilla . . . but that is a trip that is worthy all on its own. We had a couple of nights in Paris as a stopover after Morocco. We always enjoy Paris but we were still tingling from Morocco so it did dull it. I have to agree with the others & say just spend more time there. We could have easily used more time south of the Atlas Mtns.

To barefoot . . . Chaotic? No, there is some strange choreography to it all.
